Thread is on the market, opposite the front entrance of the MArket Hall. It’s a fantastic, independently owned Belgian bar with the largest selection of Belgian beers in Stockport.

Bask is situated next to Stockport Train Station, and is one of the best bars in Stockport for live music. It’s the home of the official Twilight sad after party on the 20th September.

Highballer is on Stockport Market, at the side of the Market Hall. There are live performances all day on The Merch Market, from bands including Mood Hoover, The Maddocks and Liines
